The Sunrise San Pedro Volcano hike is without question a spectacular experience. The climb begins early morning around 4:30 to be exact. The three to four-hour climb to the top of San Pedro Volcano is worth getting up at that time. As the sun bursts through the horizon you are presented with a moment in time that you will keep and share with friends and family after you leave Guatemala.

Henry’s skills as a guide are not limited to climbing San Pedro. The family-owned Tour and Travel business also provides private hikes to the top of Indian Nose AKA “The Mayan Nose” as Henry prefers to call the hike. We are in Mayan Country as I would like to point out. The view from the Mayan Nose at Sunrise offers guests a different view of Lake Atitlan and yes as you look to the horizon your eyes might capture Henry’s brother Poncho atop San Pedro Volcano.

If you prefer something a little less strenuous than climbing a Volcano? Perhaps spending a day on Lake Atitlan visiting the Mayan villages around the lake is of interest? Henry can also provide you with a day of private guided boat services. The best way to see the villages of Lake Atitlan is by boat by the way. The family-owned business has 3 boats.
