Ethical Fashion Guatemala Expands: New E-Commerce and Coffee Initiatives in 2025
Supporting Artisans, Protecting Traditions, and Expanding Ethical Trade
Ethical Fashion Guatemala, a U.S.-registered LLC, continues to grow its mission of empowering artisans, coffee producers, and ethical travel providers in Guatemala. Built on a fair trade model where creators retain 85% of their earnings, we provide copyright protection, direct market access, and global shipping for weavers, coffee and cacao producers, and other skilled artisans.
As we expand our impact in 2025, we’re excited to announce two major developments:
1. New E-Commerce and Shipping for Cooperativa La Voz
Cooperativa La Voz is one of Guatemala’s leading organic-certified coffee cooperatives, known for its high-quality, single-origin micro lot coffee grown near Lake Atitlán. Ethical Fashion Guatemala is currently developing a new e-commerce platform that will allow buyers to purchase coffee directly from the cooperative, ensuring that farmers receive a fair price while streamlining international shipping.
This initiative not only supports sustainable coffee farming but also provides global buyers with easy access to fresh, traceable Guatemalan coffee straight from the source.
2. Single Origin Microlot: Bringing Guatemalan Coffee to Austin, Texas
Another exciting project in the works is a partnership with a Dallas-based group with family ties to Guatemala. Through Single Origin Microlot, they will market high-value Guatemalan coffee to roasters and coffee shops in Austin, Texas. This initiative will highlight rare micro lot coffees—produced in small batches with exceptional quality—introducing Austin’s coffee scene to some of the best single-origin coffee Guatemala has to offer.
Ethical Fashion Guatemala Expands
Why This Matters
These projects align with Ethical Fashion Guatemala’s mission of ethical sourcing and direct-trade practices. By eliminating exploitative middlemen, protecting intellectual property, and ensuring fair compensation, we continue to provide artisans and producers with the tools they need to thrive.
As we build new bridges between Guatemalan coffee farmers and international buyers, we invite coffee enthusiasts, ethical consumers, and specialty coffee roasters to support these initiatives. Whether you’re looking for organic-certified coffee from Cooperativa La Voz or rare microlot beans for your Austin café, these new ventures provide direct access to some of Guatemala’s best coffee.
Stay tuned for more updates as we launch these platforms!
