- The cotton used is brown and white in color are from seeds passed down through generation’s.
- The Textile dying process uses herbs, plants creating the spectacular colours are only grown in Guatemala.
- The method of back strap weaving creates textile patterns that cannot be produced by the use of a computer.

Custom Yarns are a complex process of production, hand pick the cotton, clean, spin, and then dye the cotton. Yarns also have variations in sizes, length of a ball and strength.
A 1 lb. ball of handmade yarns take on average 11 hours to complete the processes described above.

So roll up your sleeves and get ready for this one-of-a-kind, hands-on experience, under the guidance of master weavers as you learn how to make and spin the thread, dye it, and then weave the thread using traditional, handmade looms.
