Lake Atitlan Postal Services Now Available. The closing of the Guatemala Postal Service, Correos de Guatemala has left millions of Guatemalans without the means to send and or receive mail.
The closure has also effected the large Expat community in Guatemala and in some cases part time travelers to Guatemala without the means to receive, credit cards, legal documents, passports, and driver’s licenses even a letter from a family or friend.
Strange that no one in Guatemala or the Canadian Government who ran the postal service in Guatemala have considered reopening a Postal Service. Rumors abound about a new Postal Service, yet to be seen or operating.
Ethical Fashion Guatemala holds a number of Contracts with DHL Express for the purpose of Exporting and Importing goods from Coffee, Textiles, credit cards, legal documents, passports, and driver’s licenses for individuals living in Guatemala and in other countries.
Documents coming into Guatemala have no Guatemala Customs Duty and Taxes. Only products fall under Guatemala Customs for Duty and Taxes. Mail sent to Canada or the US also have no Duty or Taxes, classified as Documents without a taxable value.

Twice a week we will send mail to the US and Canada by DHL in a bulk shipments. Our forwarding collaborate in the US will then place postage on the individual mail and post your mail for delivery by Canadian Post or US Post.
You will pay the postal rates for Mailing from the US and a fee of $3.35 per letter shipped in our bulk mail shipments. Rates for US Post are below.

You can drop your mail off at our office in Panajachel at Avenida Santander Centro Comercial el Patio Local No.6 Panajachel Solola. Incoming mail will also be available at this office.
For Larger mail shipments, we can compete with the US and Canada Postal rates below and ship your packages direct.
0.5 lb., zone 1 our rate for three-day delivery is $37.78 to Canada or the US.
